Olympics Show Determination and Will Power.
I am thrilled to watch the dancing and fireworks shows that have been created with much time and with such elaborate props. I watched with awe as the 2008 drummers played the countdown.
The lights came on and went out as they played creating the count down effect in digits. The planning was outstanding and the firework show incredible. Leave it to China to have the most elaborate fireworks show on earth. Who better to do it than the country that created them.
The Chinese showed how discipline can create a picture of synchronization as the 2008 drummers performed and also the 2008 dancers. What a fabulous idea to have 2008 in each set of groups.
I have just finished watching the mens gymnastics, and it was pleasing to see the jovial display of happiness as they took 3rd as a team.
I am waiting to watch the womans. Gymnastics and figure skating are my favorites.
